When We Come Together, We All Rise
A united effort to support youth, strengthen community connections, and build everyday life-skills across Northern Ontario.
Stronger Together is TIGA’s collaborative initiative that brings local partners, Indigenous leaders, and grassroots organizations together to provide education-only, culturally grounded supports for youth and their families—using plain-language resources and PAD Off-Ice youth life-skills sessions. (Any on-ice activities, if pursued, are organized by CMHA hockey officials outside TIGA’s charitable programming.)
At the heart of Stronger Together is the belief that we learn and grow best as a collective—when communities share resources, celebrate identity, and build toward a future rooted in strength and belonging.
Empowering Youth
TIGA’s first Stronger Together partnership launched proudly with the Capreol Minor Hockey Association (CMHA), home of the Capreol Hawks. This collaboration set a new standard in youth development by integrating sport with Indigenous-led education, wellness, and mentorship.
Together, TIGA and CMHA are creating a model that other associations across Northern Ontario are invited to follow — proving that when we support the whole person, we develop stronger teams, healthier youth, and more resilient communities.
